Meet Mike

Mike Ingraham is a Navy veteran, businessman, father of two, and grandfather of three who has dedicated his life to service, family, and community. He grew up with strong Texas values of faith, hard work, and responsibility. After serving in the United States Navy, where he developed the discipline and perseverance that continue to guide him today, Mike earned a degree in History with a minor in Psychology from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Military Service
Mike achieved the rank of Yeoman Second Class (YN2) during his naval career and received an Honorable Discharge. He was awarded the Navy Achievement Medal (NAM), the Good Conduct Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal. His time in uniform gave him a deep appreciation for freedom and for the duty Americans share to protect it.

Career in Business and Mortgage Banking
After returning home, Mike began a career in the mortgage industry. Over the years, he has helped thousands of Texas families achieve the dream of homeownership. He has also served the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association through the Education and Endowment Committee and the CRA Fair Lending and Access Committee. His career has reinforced the importance of accountability, financial responsibility, and opportunity for every family.

Community Involvement
Mike has invested in his community through his current service on the Bedford Planning and Zoning Committee, where he works to guide responsible growth and protect the character of local neighborhoods. He previously served on the Street Improvement Economic Development Corporation, gaining valuable insight into how infrastructure and economic development decisions impact safety, mobility, and quality of life for families and businesses.

Family and Faith
Mike is a devoted husband and father who understands the challenges Texas families face. His wife and children are the foundation of his life, and his Christian faith guides his decisions and values.

Why He Is Running
Texas is at a crossroads. Border security, education reform, and economic responsibility are critical to the future of our state. Mike is running for the Texas House to bring conservative leadership, real-world business experience, and a record of service to Austin. He is committed to securing the border, strengthening schools, lowering taxes, and protecting the values that make Texas strong.
